Knowing God Personally

My personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ has helped me in my battle with Multiple Sclerosis. I believe that He cares for me and is in control, both now and for eternity. Below are some things that have helped me to cope with the disease and learn more about God who cares for me.

The Ethiopian And The Astronaut

My personal testimony of becoming a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I had met a new friend in my first year of college at Grande Prairie College in 1981. Mengistu, was a student from Ethiopia, who was very friendly and had invited me to come to his church. I was eighteen and had not been to church since I was six years old. I really didn’t know what to expect but made a decision to try it out. I found the church to be very warm and interesting and within a short time I became a believer in Jesus Christ.

My First Church

Grande Prairie Alliance Church is a church historically led by spirit filled leaders committed to helping people find the Lord Jesus Christ. I found the bible studies and church services to be very challenging and interesting. The people were incredibly friendly and determined to share the truth of Jesus Christ.

The Word of God

The First Version of the Bible that I ever studied. It is written in a paraphrased version, making it easier to read and understand. I started in Genesis (The first book of the Bible), worked my way through Ezekiel, and then skipped ahead to the New Testament and started reading about Jesus Christ.

The Jesus Film Project

The “JESUS” film, released in 1979, is widely recognized as the most translated and most watched film in history. According to the Jesus Film Project, it has been viewed more than 11.1 billion times since its release.

Zoom Evangelism

Along with our website, we want to encourage individuals to take a few moments and contact me to chat about how faith in God has made such a difference in my battle against Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I have had MS for approximately 28 years. It has been a very challenging and difficult experience, but as a Christian I have hope for now and for eternity. I have often wondered how others who don’t know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ deal with MS. I want to encourage you that God loves you and wants you know His love personally. Please contact me and let’s chat about how knowing God can make such a difference in this battle.
