My Current Church
My current church - First Baptist of Rockwall.
This church is where my wife and I are members. We have found it to be a very warm and welcoming church with member committed to leading people to Christ and growing as Christians.
This is another example of a church that you will want to find to help you in your spiritual journey. It is important that you find a church that:
- Is committed to the truth of the Bible.
- Believes that there is one true God in the Universe, the God of the Bible.
- Believes that there is only one way to God, through His son Jesus Christ.
- Believes that the church is committed to our Lord’s great commission:
18 “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20
